Close your eyes... We’re in Pornic, at the start of the 20th century, facing a cliff that’s absolutely dizzying. On this postcard, a handful of brave climbers pose proudly, out of breath but delighted, after conquering the ‘Pointe de Gourmalon’ – the famous ‘arduous climb’, as the vintage postcard already described it. The Tara agency has preserved this slightly old-fashioned charm, leaving this black-and-white photo enhanced with retro lettering completely untouched. A little nod to all those who know that Pornic isn’t just about sand and shells: here too, we love to walk, work up a sweat… and admire the view.

We love this seaside souvenir, full of effort and pride, perfect for sending to a friend or framing to remind ourselves that beauty has to be earned (and that we’ve certainly earned it).
