Presentation

The Ferme Pédagogique du Fresne invites you to learn from nature in order to better protect it. Our objective: to preserve biodiversity and raise awareness of the world of living things among young and old.
Through this educational farm, located in the heart of the Marais Breton, the Association Agir Ensemble wishes to meet four challenges:
  • To preserve heritage species: the birds of the Marais thanks to our LPO refuge, the black bees, the Ouessant sheep,
  • To preserve the natural environment and ecosystems,
  • To be an incubator for market gardeners by making our land and infrastructure available to them so that they can start their own business,
  • To make young and old aware of the world of life by offering workshops 

ADULT WORKSHOPS
Training workshops on ancient seeds, permaculture, water treatment, sanitation, phytodepuration and medical plants.

CHILDREN'S WORKSHOPS
For children in schools and leisure centres; Biodiversity days to create a connection to nature and learn about biodiversity through workshops on permaculture, insects, water treatment, birds, building nest boxes, developing the senses...

GUIDED TOURS
Every first Saturday of the month from 01/05 to 30/09, between 10am and 5pm + every day during school holidays. By reservation only.

The farm is located in a site classified "Natura 2000" and LPO refuge.
The Ferme Pédagogique du Fresne is the national winner of the Adrienne and Pierre Sommer Foundation's 2021 educational farm prize.
