Presentation

Chatelet Beach, also known as Gibraltar Beach, and Grande Beach are among the town’s lesser-known coves.
These two beaches are nestled between cliffs, giving them a peaceful and serene atmosphere.
The high-quality sand, free of rocks, is ideal for swimming.
It’s a place where you can fully relax and enjoy the sun in complete tranquility!

Since they’re less well-known, these coves attract fewer crowds, and it’s mostly “regulars” who gather there—especially on summer evenings for impromptu “beach aperitifs”! 

 Please note:
  • Access to Chatelet Beach is via Impasse de Gibraltar.
  • Access to Grande Plage is via stairs from Route de la Source.
  • There are a few rocks on Grande Plage.
  • There is no direct parking access. However, you can park in the few spots along Route de la Source or at the parking lot a little further up, across from the Terres Rouges Sensitive Natural Area.

In short, these beaches are small, unspoiled corners of paradise.
Enjoy the surroundings, the swimming, and the peace and quiet! 🌊🏖️
