The D'ici L'aurore craft brewery, nestling in the heart of the Pays de Retz in Saint-Hilaire-de-Chaléons, will awaken your senses and taste buds.
Between Nantes and Pornic, independent brewer Aurore invites you on a tasty adventure. Tasty beers to take you "from here to dawn", to make the conviviality and sharing last until the wee hours of the morning...

The secrets of "D'ici l'Aurore" beers

  • simple, varied beers, low in alcohol but with a strong character
  • ingredients sourced locally, such as organic hops from "Champ du Houblon" in Villeneuve-en-Retz

Here's a tantalising glimpse of the range of beers, each carrying a promise of authenticity and conviviality...

The D'ici l'aurore beers 
  • Grâce Matinée" white: light, with spicy notes of ginger. Fresh and invigorating, perfect for a brunch on the terrace.
  • Aurore du Soir" blonde: sunshine in a bottle! Aurore du Soir shines brightly with its malty aromas and light bitterness. 
  • Midi Net" amber: twilight in a glass! Caramel notes, reminiscent of the last rays of sunshine... 
  • La Femme à Barbe" dark: starry night in a bottle! Aromas of coffee, chocolate and hazelnut, an invitation to daydream under the starry sky.
  • Bain de Minuit" IPA: a galaxy of hops. An explosion on the palate with fruity flavours and a resinous finish.

Where can you buy D'ici l'aurore beers? Directly from the brewery at the weekly Ferme à Cultures market, on Tuesdays from 4pm to 8pm.

The brewing workshops 
The brewing workshops immerse you in the ancient art of beer making. Handle the vats, mix the malts and monitor the fermentation process. Guided by Aurore, master brewer, you'll create your own brew and leave with 20 litres of your own unique recipe, ready to enjoy. Beer-making will hold no secrets for you!
