Presentation

The Calvaire de la Douve is the highest point in the town of Pornic. It stands on the site of the old watchtower on the ramparts of the medieval town.
Climb the few steps up to the Calvary and enjoy the superb panoramic view over the roofs of the upper town: Saint-Gilles church, Château de Pornic, Baie de Bourgneuf.
Noirmoutier can also be seen... depending on the weather!
