  • The fortress houses a residential palace with refined facades and Renaissance loggias.
 
  • The history museum is housed in 32 rooms and features more than 1,150 exhibits      The tour reveals remarkable architectural features and looks back at key events in the history of the château and the town: the Atlantic slave trade and slavery, industrialization (LU, BN), the port, the world wars...
 
  • This unique château-museum can be visited as you wish (guided tours, themed tours, audioguide) and in the time you have available. For families, tours and workshops are offered throughout the year, and documents are also available for self-guided visits.
