Bordered by dunes and rocks, Cormier Beach in La Plaine-sur-Mer offers an idyllic natural setting.  The surrounding vegetation, consisting of maritime pines, adds to the charm of this peaceful place. With its fine sand, this beach is ideal for all beach activities and relaxation, as well as for beautiful walks.

This beach is an ideal place to relax and enjoy the sun.  Easy access to the water will help you make the most of your time at the beach. Swimming is supervised during the season, allowing families to enjoy the pleasures of the beach in complete safety. Water sports enthusiasts can also enjoy sailing, kitesurfing or paddleboarding.

🦀Seashore fishing 
Shellfish gathering is a relaxing activity that takes place at low tide and allows you to enjoy the fresh sea air. It is also an opportunity to learn more about the local flora and fauna.  How to get to Cormier Beach
Cormier Beach is easily accessible by car, bicycle or on foot:

•     on foot, via the Circuit du Cormier coastal path and from the centre of La Plaine-sur-Mer via the Circuit du Port de Gravette
•     by bicycle, via the La Vélodyssée cycle route 
•     in July and August via the free summer shuttle bus

More information to help you make the most of your stay:

•     In July and August, the lifeguard station is open.
•     Parking is available near the beach.
•     Public toilets are nearby.
•     Le Petit Mousse restaurant is around 500 metres away.
•     A Tiralo beach wheelchair is available for people with reduced mobility who wish to enjoy a swim.
•     Equipment available to borrow for sports activities such as beach volleyball and beach tennis.
