"An ancestral maritime heritage...and a history to preserve !"

 
Who hasn't noticed these stones on the foreshore, arranged in the shape of an arc or an inverted V?
Step back in time with Josette Collot, accompanied by a guide from the Tourist Office. Discover this forgotten fishing technique, the history of these weirs, their construction, and the restoration of this heritage site, which is being maintained by two local associations: the Association of Shore Fishermen of the Jade Coast (APPCC) and the Association for the Preservation and Protection of the Natural Heritage of La Bernerie-en-Retz (RPNDC).

  • Registration required at the Pornic Intercommunal Tourist Office.
  • Tickets on sale at all Destination Pornic Tourist Offices (La Bernerie-en-Retz, Les Moutiers-en-Retz, La Plaine-sur-Mer, Pornic, Préfailles, Saint-Michel-Chef-Chef and Villeneuve-en-Retz) or book online.
  • Meeting point provided upon booking.
  • Please wear comfortable shoes.
  • Animals are not accepted.
  • The organisers reserve the right to cancel in the event of adverse weather conditions or if the minimum number of participants (5 paying participants) is not reached.
  • Tickets are non-exchangeable and non-refundable.
