During these cruises, you will…

Enjoy 1.5, 2, or 3 hours of sailing (depending on the option chosen) on the estuary and out at sea—a wonderful way to savor a summer afternoon or evening.
Experience something unique as you pass beneath the Saint-Nazaire Bridge or right next to a massive hewn-granite lighthouse…
Head out to sea to visit the first offshore wind farm.
Delight in taking photos during the boat tour: beaches, coves, and cliffs, as well as the shipyards and port terminals.

The trips take place aboard an excursion boat with a capacity of around 180 passengers; it is certified for sea voyages and accessible to people with reduced mobility. Each cruise is accompanied by professional guides who provide live commentary on the sights. Routes may vary slightly depending on weather conditions and tides.

Four discovery cruises are available, taking place during the day, in the evening, or at night.
Duration: 1.5, 2, or 3 hours (depending on the chosen option)

🌬️ The "Out at Sea with Aeolus" Cruise – 3 hours – from May to September:
Three hours off the coast of Saint-Nazaire, heading to the heart of France's first offshore wind farm. An exhilarating cruise that takes you right up close to the wind turbines, offering a chance to learn all about marine renewable energy.
🛟 "Saint-Nazaire sur Mer" Cruise – 2 hours – July and August:
Between the estuary and the ocean, the city reveals a thousand facets: the seafront, coves, cliffs, shipyards, and the Saint-Nazaire Bridge—the longest in France... Breathtaking views guaranteed! Highlights include the spectacular passage beneath the Saint-Nazaire Bridge and exploring Saint-Nazaire’s unspoiled coastline.
🌅 "La route des feux" (Lighthouse Route) Night Cruise – 2 hours – July and August:
At nightfall, whether along the coast or out at sea, lighthouses and beacons light up to guide ships and sailors. A unique, magical experience to decode the signals of night navigation.

What to expect on the discovery cruises:

Boarding: Meet at Quai de Kribi (access via Avenue Demange, near the Ecomuseum) with your tickets at least 15 minutes before departure.
Reservation required.
Guided commentary in French.
You will board a comfortable, certified vessel operated by Marine et Loire. On board: covered deck, open deck, seating, and restrooms.
Cruises accessible to people with reduced mobility. Limited capacity: reservations by phone only.
Subject to change based on weather conditions.
