In Les Moutiers-en-Retz, the Centre hippique de la Mer organises horse rides, lessons and courses, on the beach or in the marshes.
The Centre hippique de la Mer offers a wide range of equestrian activities for all ages and abilities.

Pony rides and baptisms for children:
  • Calm and quiet rides guided by an instructor, on the paths of the Lyarne marsh or on the beach (depending on level).
  • Plan to arrive early to get to know your pony, brush it, stroke it, get fitted with a helmet, etc.
  • For children aged 3 and over.
  • Duration: 1 hour.
  • An adult is required to hold the pony and accompany the child.
  • Bookings must be made by telephone with the Centre hippique de le Mer.

Horse rides for teenagers and adults:
  • Rides guided by an instructor, on the paths of the Lyarne marsh or on the beach (depending on the rider's level).
  • Plan to arrive early to get to know your horse, prepare it and get kitted out.
  • Duration: 1, 2 or 3 hours.
  • Bookings must be made by telephone with the Centre hippique de le Mer.

Riding courses and lessons: 
  • Courses for children or adults during the school holidays, for beginners as well as more experienced riders. 
  • Lessons all year round, on Wednesdays or Saturdays, for all levels, from beginners to advanced.
  • Bookings can be made by telephone with the Centre hippique de le Mer.
