Presentation

A picturesque fishing and yachting harbour in Les Moutiers-en-Retz, between Loire-Atlantique and Vendée.
This port is located in the heart of the Marais Breton and the Baie de Bourgneuf.

Once a major port on the Bay of Brittany, Le Collet is now an oyster-farming port. For centuries, Le Collet was a major export port for salt produced in the coastal salt marshes.

Port du Collet Harbour Master's Office:
  • the harbourmaster's office is located on the right bank of the old port of Collet, downstream from the footbridge
  • in July and August, it is open all day at high tide; outside the summer period, it is open from time to time
  • Various information is available on the notice boards at the harbour master's office, in particular the provisional timetable for flushing and intake of sea water.

The Port du Collet is one of the many activities in the town of Les Moutiers-en-Retz presented by the Destination Pornic Tourist Office.
