The Jardin de la Ria playground is located along the Haute-Perche Canal.

This communal playground is located in the heart of the Jardin de la Ria, next to the Haute-Perche Canal.

The area, designed for children aged 1 to 12, has seven pieces of equipment.  

The play structures you will find at the Jardin de la Ria are five good reasons to bring your children here to have fun 🛝

🏴‍☠️ The pirate ship (ages 1 to 6)
This ship with its pirate flag is sure to attract all children.
The triangular-shaped boat is a space that can inspire all kinds of stories taking place on or around the deck. 
It can accommodate small groups of children engaging in theatrical play, interacting with each other.
The helm and flag can inspire children to create stories about sailors, helping to develop their imagination.

⚓ The rowboat is a real invitation to role play (ages 2 to 10) 
This little boat promises hours of imaginative play.

•     The seat at the back and the rotating tiller stimulate the imagination. 
•     The binoculars, added to the boat's tactile and rotating elements, complete the sailing theme. 

These elements react to the children's movements, which is sure to delight them. 
The openings on the sides allow children of all abilities to participate.
This wooden rowboat stimulates children's imaginations with role-playing games based on the world of exploration and the conquest of unknown lands!

⚖️Spring toy (ages 3 to 10)
Nothing beats a seesaw for younger children, and the balance platform is a superb platform that encourages them to swing. 
Its rocking motion is fun and children can explore all body positions on the platform. 
This develops their sense of balance and spatial awareness, two elements that ensure control of their own bodies and teach them how to avoid falling. 
Whether lying down, sitting, standing or jumping, all children can play together. 

 Balance games (3 to 12 years old)
The water lily balance course attracts children who like to test their agility.
The water lilies make them want to jump or move from one to another. Their width also attracts less confident children, who can test their sense of balance while having fun.

  Balance beam with rope (ages 6 to 12)
This playground feature consists of a horizontal balance beam that spins when children walk on it. By holding onto the support rope, children can spin it like a hamster wheel. 
This feature challenges older children, who compete with each other to see who can stay upright the longest. 
As well as being fun, the balance beam with rope really challenges children's sense of balance.

The Jardin de la Ria playground is the perfect place for your children to have fun and enjoy the outdoors!
With a wide range of equipment, children can have fun, get active and let off steam while testing their coordination and agility.

An ideal place to get together with family, have a good time with friends and chat with other parents in this landscaped area.
Let yourself be carried away by this botanical garden, near the port of Pornic, designed by renowned landscape architect Thierry Huau.
This plant-filled walkway symbolises the environmental restoration of the ria, the link between land and sea, sea and marsh.
