L'Arche du Pays de Retz, an educational farm where learning and passion go hand in hand, is nestled in the heart of a dairy farm between Nantes and Pornic. The GAEC des Cariolets has decided to open its doors for you to discover the day-to-day aspects of their profession.

In a fun, family-friendly atmosphere, come and explore the heart of the farming profession. With majestic cows, curious goats, mischievous rabbits and even charming guinea pigs, animals will hold no secrets for you.

On the programme for the ‘If I were a farmer’ guided tour:

fetch the cows from the field and feel the earth beneath your feet
feed the rabbits and guinea pigs, their greedy little snouts awaiting you
discover milking the cows, an essential part of farm life
look after the goats and sheep, bonding with these gentle, inquisitive creatures
bottle-feeding the calves, a touching and authentic experience

And that's not all! Depending on the season, themed visits await you, whether for Halloween, Easter or other special occasions.

Tour schedule:
guided tour ‘If I were a farmer’ Monday to Friday, 3pm to 5pm, by prior arrangement, €6 per child / €8 per adult.
themed tours from Monday to Friday, 3pm to 5pm, during school holidays only, booking required, prices vary according to theme.
Sensory tour for 0-3 year olds, Monday to Friday, 9.30am to 11.30am, for 0-3 year olds, by prior arrangement, €5 per child / €2 per adult.
Group visits (schools, leisure centres, EHPAD, IME, etc.) by prior arrangement, prices on quotation.
