   Just 30 minutes from Nantes, Boissière du Doré Zoo offers a unique experience: over 1,100 animals, a free-flying bird show, guided feedings and, new for 2025, an area dedicated to Canadian and Alaskan wolves  
Spend an unusual night in our Africa Lodges and take part in the conservation of endangered species such as the Amur leopard, thanks to the Boissière-Mervent Conservation association.
 

  Classed as one of the world's finest animal parks, the Parc Zoologique de la Boissière du Doré invites you to enjoy an immersive experience, just 30 minutes from Nantes and Cholet.
In the heart of 28 hectares of lush greenery, discover more than 1,100 animals in vast enclosures designed with their well-being in mind.

  Witness some unique moments: the spectacle of 200 birds in free flight or the feeding tour with commentary. From 2025, marvel at the brand new 1.5 hectare area dedicated to Canadian and Alaskan wolves, offering a fascinating insight into their social life.

  Spend an unusual night at the height of the giraffes or facing the rhinos in one of our Africa Lodges. New since 2023, two lodges facing the giraffes, with a cocooning SPA and a family SPA with jacuzzi for up to nine people.

  The park is committed to preserving biodiversity and supports endangered species such as the Amur leopard and the orang-utan. Each ticket contributes directly to the Boissière-Mervent Conservation association, which funds around twenty projects around the world.

  In 2025, the zoo is proud to be taking part in a programme to save the Amur leopard, with the long-term aim of gradually reintroducing them into their natural environment, in order to reduce the risk of extinction.

  Dive into the heart of nature with interactive activities such as Instants Privilèges, Soigneur Junior or Family'VIP, to get up close to the animals and discover what goes on behind the scenes at the park.

  • 1 hour from the Atlantic coast, 30 minutes from Nantes, on the Nantes / Cholet motorway, Vallet exit.
  • Ticket office closes 2 hours before the park closes.
Access : 1 hour from the atlantic coast,  30 minutes from Nantes, on the axis Nantes/Cholet, way out Vallet.

Please note : last admission 2 hours before the zoo closes.
