Enjoy the proximity of animals, the African plains, the free-flying bird show, semi-free spaces, immersion aviaries, animal feeding, not forgetting the mini-farm and the playground as well as the possibility of spending a night with the animals.
 
Ranked among the most beautiful animal parks, the Boissière du Doré Zoological Park lets you discover a remarkable collection of species 30 minutes from Nantes and Cholet.
In the heart of the Nantes vineyards, a team of enthusiasts takes care of more than 1,100 animals, belonging to numerous species in danger of extinction, such as the orangutan, emblem of the park.

From large wooden footbridges, come and discover the vast spaces where giraffes, zebras, antelopes, lions, bears and even the rhinoceros family roam.

Discover the unusual with Asian, South American and Australian aviaries: binturongs, armadillos, dendrobates, sloths, lorikeets, wallabies...
Experience unforgettable moments facing felines, great apes and the many babies born each year. Share intimate moments with the residents of the mini-farm.
Discover a breathtaking spectacle with more than 200 birds in free flight or attend the feeding tour.

Spend an unusual night alongside giraffes or facing rhinos in one of our Africa Lodges. New since 2023, 2 lodges facing the giraffes with a cocooning SPA and a family SPA with jacuzzi that can accommodate up to 9 people.

Considered one of the rarest felines in the world with only around a hundred individuals recorded in the wild, the Amur panther is part of a European conservation program (EEP).
In 2024, the Boissière du Doré zoo is proud to participate in the work of saving this animal with the long-term objective of a gradual reintroduction of individuals into their natural environment in order to reduce the risk of extinction.

The park also wishes to strengthen its commitment to safeguarding animals in their natural environment. To do this, from each entry ticket, €1 will be donated to the Boissière Mervent Conservation association, which finances more than twenty conservation programs around the world.

 
Access : 1 hour from the atlantic coast,  30 minutes from Nantes, on the axis Nantes/Cholet, way out Vallet.

Please note : last admission 2 hours before the zoo closes.
