La Paillote du Porteau is definitely one of those places you’d love to keep to yourself… but you always end up sharing it. Here, you can have lunch or dinner overlooking the ocean, lulled by the sound of the waves and the sea air. A friendly atmosphere, stunning views and simple, delicious food: everything you need for a real holiday experience on the Jade Coast.

Authentic Breton galettes made with organic flour from a local mill, sandwiches and open sandwiches on toasted brioche with utterly indulgent fillings, fresh and original salads, not to mention our favourite: the ultra-generous Coco-style smach burger, are just a few examples from the menu.

What we love most of all is that feeling of being completely disconnected. You sink your feet into the sand, a drink in hand, and time slows down instantly. It’s the perfect spot at the end of the day: come for a drink, stay for the sunset… and soak up that incredible light over the ocean. It’s definitely the sort of place where you’ll linger into the evening without noticing the time passing.
