Presentation

Ideally located between the sea and the countryside, the Loire Atlantique and the Vendée, 300 metres from the town of Bourgneuf-en-Retz, the municipal reception area at La Salorge allows you to park your motorhome free of charge all year round, without booking, for one night or up to 3 consecutive nights.
The motorhome parking and service area :
- available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, with no need to book parking during the day or night; we advise you not to arrive after 5.30pm during the high season, as pitches are limited.
- A platform with a draining rail is freely available.
- an automatic drinking water connection point, accessible 24 hours a day, 7 days a week (payment by credit card only, €2 for around 100 litres of water/10 minutes).

Practical services available on the same site:
- a shaded picnic area,
- automatic public toilets (no showers),
- Recycling bins,
- a charging point for electric vehicles,
- a car-pooling parking area.

Local shops :
- Locally: the Villeneuve-en-Retz Tourist Office is open all year round: find opening times here,
- Bicycles can be hired from the Tourist Office in July and August,
- There is a signpost with two hiking trails: Les Aigrettes and Les Migrateurs, as well as a short heritage trail HERE.
- 200 metres away on foot, visit Marcel's soap factory and shop,
- In the village, a 10-minute walk away, the Musée du Pays de Retz (Pays de Retz Museum) welcomes you from April to October for an insight into the history of the Pays de Retz and our local communities.
- Take advantage of the local shops less than 10 minutes' walk away: a bakery, a pizza vending machine, the local library, a butcher's and delicatessen, a small couture-deco shop, Frédérique the ceramist's workshop and the Belcanto antiques shop.
