Ideally located in the heart of Pornic, at the foot of the castle and a stone's throw from the Noëveillard beach, the Jardin de Retz guest house, built around 1780, is a true haven of peace, open all year round.
Set back 50 metres from Pornic's old harbour, this 19th-century house with its delightful garden reflects the personalities of its two owners, both passionate about botany: Jean and Michelle, interior designers.

Michelle, the lady of the house, welcomes you all year round with her good humour and contagious energy, and offers you a personalised service.

You can choose between two comfortable, spacious rooms, each with its own private entrance:
  • The Acanthe room: a contemporary room of 20m² with a refined decor, including a 160x200 bed, a shower room, a separate toilet and a south-facing balcony with a view of the garden.
  • The Voltaire room: a charming, elegantly decorated 20m² room with a 180x200 bed, a shower room with adjoining WC and a beautiful, unoverlooked view of the garden.

Breakfast is served in a cosy, beautifully decorated room on the ground floor with an uninterrupted view of the garden, a veritable theatre of greenery.

The garden is made up of a variety of evergreens, providing a beautiful backdrop in both winter and summer, with a succession of spaces available for you to enjoy your stay in complete privacy.

Situated just 900m from the station, this bed and breakfast is ideal for travellers wishing to do everything on foot: leisure activities, shops and restaurants are all close by.
