La Bernerie-en-Retz has a new culinary jewel in its crown: P'tit Flan Bernerien, a local speciality that has delighted the taste buds of young and old alike for decades.

A gourmet heritage preserved with passion 
Mattéo Gobin, a young entrepreneur with a passion for his region's gourmet heritage, has taken up the authentic recipe for P'tit Flan Bernerien, created in 1947 by Father René Denis.
This flan, a veritable Proust's dream for Bernerians, is distinguished by its creamy texture and delicate flavour, offering a unique taste experience.
The takeover of P'tit Flan Bernerien was made with the agreement of Isa & Marie's children, who have been designated as the 'heirs' of the traditional recipe. Mattéo is committed to scrupulously respecting the know-how of Father René Denis, while adding his own personal touch.


 A gourmet heritage to savour
Mattéo's three-wheeled vehicle, decked out in the colours of the P'tit Flan Bernerien, will be selling this delicacy at markets in La Bernerie-en-Retz, Pornic and La Baule-le-Pins.
The return of the P'tit Flan Bernerien is a real ode to local delicacies and heritage. Taste this tasty flan and let yourself be transported by memories of your childhood.
