 On-call pharmacies in a nutshell:

Pharmacists have organised themselves so that you can find an on-call pharmacy at night, on Sundays and on public holidays. This system exists throughout France, although the terms of access vary. 

• During the day until 9 or 10 p.m., depending on the department, on-call pharmacies are accessible with a valid prescription and your documents (health insurance card, mutual insurance card, ID). 
• Later, or when pharmacies are closed during the day, you must call the nearest police station.
