The Pornic Inter-municipal Tourist Office has begun the process of applying for the quality label for its seven tourist offices. This initiative is part of a strong commitment to ensuring a high-quality welcome that is accessible to all visitors throughout the Destination Pornic area.
The ‘Tourisme & Handicap’ label is a government-recognised mark that goes far beyond a simple logo. It guarantees a welcome tailored to people with disabilities and recognises tourist establishments – accommodation, leisure venues, restaurants and tourist information centres – that have put specific facilities in place and trained their staff.
The aim is simple: to enable everyone to enjoy their holidays and explore our magnificent Pornic destination to the full, independently and in the greatest possible comfort.
This label takes into account four main categories of disability :
To enhance the quality of its visitor experience, the tourist office team has benefited from the support and advice of Loire-Atlantique Développement. Far from being a constraint, this initiative represents a genuine opportunity for development and a mark of quality for tourist establishments. It highlights a commitment to inclusive and responsible tourism. We invite all stakeholders within the Destination Pornic region to join this initiative in order to provide an increasingly accessible range of services.
