Located in the village of La Bernerie-en-Retz, Les Perles de Jade oyster farm is a story of passion, terroir and excellence. Oyster-farmers Maud and Dominique Friou have turned their love of oysters into a real taste adventure.

The secret behind Les Perles de Jade?
The oysters are bred in an exceptional environment: the Baie de Bourgneuf, cradled by the waves of the Atlantic Ocean and located between the Vendée and Loire-Atlantique. This bay is a showcase of biodiversity. Its phytoplankton-rich waters give the oysters a unique flavour. They grow slowly, taking the time to soak up the sea and the sun.

Oyster-farmer Dominique Friou talks about his job, but above all about his products! When he talks about oysters, his eyes light up. It's this passion that gives rise to these exceptional pearls.
