Whether you're looking for a picnic, a hike, some fun for the kids or a spot of fishing, the Bourgneuf ponds are open all year round!
A really nice place to spend time with the family!

The Etangs de Bourgneuf site welcomes you all year round, and there are plenty of facilities on site to help you relax:
  • several picnic tables,
  • slides and outdoor games for children aged 2 to 12,
  • two bowling greens,
  • a one-hour fitness trail with various apparatus,
  • A book box is available for you to read in the shade of the trees.
  • You can also walk around the first two ponds all year round or go fishing (with a fishing card).

Practicalities:
  • For easy access, there is a large free car park and public toilets.
  • You can access the site from the route d'Arthon-en-Retz (also accessible by camper van), or from the route de Nantes.
  • There are 3 ponds open to fishing and walking: the first pond is around 2 km long, the second around 1.4 km, and the third around 1.6 km. Only the third is not accessible for walking all year round (you'll have to wait for the winter rains to evacuate).

To have even more fun and enjoy your day, remember to bring balloons, snowshoes and your picnic!
