The Château de Ranrouët of Herbignac : a heritage to discover!

Located in a unique and unusual setting, this sentinel of the marshes is different from the perched sites. Built from the 13th century, it was constantly reworked until the 17th century. The successive owners, the Assérac, the Rochefort, the Rieux knew how to adapt it to the needs of their time. Both a fortress and a residence, the Château de Ranrouët is also an essential witness to the history of Brittany.
