Redois Beach

Redois Beach, which has been awarded the Blue Flag, is a small, family-friendly beach that is mainly frequented in the summer by guests of the Bord de Mer campground, located directly across the way, and by guests of the Brise de Mer vacation rental, just a few meters away.

This beach was one of the first developed beaches in the region. In fact, old postcards even show vintage bathing huts! Although it’s less crowded these days, it retains its authentic charm and peaceful atmosphere.
 
On the right side, the beach extends below the cliffs, featuring numerous rocks and a few fishing huts, which give this small beach its picturesque charm. In fact, in winter, during bad weather  and high tides, it’s an ideal spot for photographers and walkers. The waves crash against the cliffs, creating a truly spectacular sight. A deep breath of fresh sea air is guaranteed!

Sometimes, if you look up, you can see paragliders from the A Tire d’Aile association soaring off the cliffs!

Our favorite  :
the specially designed access path with wooden decking for people with limited mobility. This is particularly appreciated by vacationers with disabilities staying at the “Tourisme et Handicap” certified Brise de Mer center, who can thus fully enjoy the beach. Also worth noting are the restrooms located right near the beach.

The one little downside  :
This beach has many rocks, which can sometimes be dangerous for swimming when the tidal range is too low… Tip: Wear water shoes to protect your feet from the rocks!
