Learn the art of pottery? Du Sable dans ma Valise offers pottery workshops in Villeneuve-en-Retz.

Whether you're a beginner or an experienced artist, these workshops are the perfect opportunity to learn how to shape clay and create unique pieces. Frédérique, with her patience and expertise, will guide you step by step to unleash your inner artist.

Each session is designed to offer an enriching and fun experience, allowing everyone to express their creativity and leave with original creations.

Workshop programme :

• introduction to modelling techniques: learn the basics to create unique, personalised pieces
• use of techniques such as colombin, plate, stamping, sculpting, engobe, enamelling, etc.
• drying and firing: at the end of the workshop, your work will dry for around 8 days and Frédérique will carry out the 1st firing at 1000 degrees. If you'd like an enamelled object, you'll come back for a 2nd class where you'll learn all about enamelling.

If you're on holiday or just passing through, how can you collect your work?

Simply send a pre-paid parcel to your address. Frédérique will send you the parcel once the firings are done, and she can also take care of the glazing in the colour you define together.
