Presentation

A first medieval church was built in the upper town of Pornic from the tenth century. A second will be built in the fourteenth century, that will be destroyed in the nineteenth century , and a larger building was erected at its location.
 
The church of St Gilles is located uptown with its admirable stone belfry.
