🏥 Saint-Nazaire Emergency Department

 The emergency department is located at the rear of the Cité Sanitaire, with a dedicated entrance on Boulevard Georges Charpak.

For any life-threatening emergency, call 15 as a matter of priority. 

🔎 Since January 2025, access to the hospital's emergency department between 8 p.m. and 8 a.m. has only been permitted on medical advice (except in life-threatening emergencies). Extension of regulated access at night to all emergency services in Loire-Atlantique, in a context of ongoing epidemic tensions, from 13 July 2025 for a period of three years.
In practical terms, any patient who has not first seen a doctor, dentist or midwife must dial 15 before going to the emergency department (114 for the hearing impaired).
