Enhance your culinary preparations with fleur de sel (with basil, spices, etc.), the subtle flavours of coarse salt with seaweed, ground grey salt or the house exclusive: mother-of-pearl salt.

The Bay of Brittany, now the Bay of Bourgneuf, was internationally renowned as Europe's largest salt-producing area from the Middle Ages until the 16th century. Ships from the Iberian Peninsula, the British Isles and particularly Northern Europe, docked in the ports of the Ile de Bouin, Bourgneuf and Le Collet, to load up with "White Gold".
Les Salines de Millac is one of the local producers from Moutiers-en-Retz and Villeneuve-en-Retz presented by the Destination Pornic Tourist Office.
