The museum's intimate and eclectic itinerary takes you to the heart of the salt marshes' heritage and land.
Landscapes, techniques, traditions; live the experience and discover all the secrets of the salt of Guérande.
Housed in the heart of former salt warehouses, the museum offers visitors an intimate and eclectic tour of the salt marshes' heritage and terroir. The major milestones in their history are recounted through a variety of emblematic objects and works.
Landscapes, techniques, traditions: the tour takes visitors on a journey through time, between yesterday's stories and today's realities, to discover the land and people of salt!
Holder of the "Qualité Tourisme" label and the "Musée de France" appellation.

The collections :
Remarkably diverse, the Salt Marsh Museum's collections contain treasures of photography, costume and graphic arts gleaned over the years from the territory.

Resources :
The Musée des Marais Salants is the "center for the history and ethnology of Atlantic salt". It offers a wealth of resources on the social and historical themes of the salt marshes.
