In Moutiers-en-Retz you'll find fishing boats like no other: the elegant Siamese twins 
Hidden between a multitude of fisheries between Lancastria beach and Lyarne beach, these two fisheries are often sought after by photographers and Instagrammers. 
Their unique architecture and photogenic appeal are all linked by a single footbridge.....

Known as the ‘inseparables’, the ‘twins’ or the ‘Siamese twins’, they can be seen as you stroll along the seafront on the dunes at Le Collet.

Practical information:
  • you can't admire them from the road along the coast, only from the beach
  • you need to be patient and walk 400 m to reach the fisheries from the Lancastria car park
  • the Collet walking trail passes in front of these famous fisheries, to follow it go here
