The La Sicaudais circuit in Chaumes-en-Retz (formerly Arthon-en-Retz) is just what you need!
A bucolic route steeped in history.
 
Starting from La Sicaudais, you'll cross the Roulais bridge, witness to the signing of the surrender of the Saint-Nazaire pocket in May 1945. A powerful reminder of the region's history. ⚓️
The path then takes you through rolling countryside offering magnificent panoramic views.
You can admire the Cross of the Saint-Vital chapel, a place of procession in times of drought until the middle of the 20th century. ⛪️
