The 37th Summer Carnival, organized by the Mid-Lent Committee, is a must-see event in Pornic! 

   What's on

Experience the magic of a sparkling night in the heart of Pornic!

The famous summer night carnival returns to light up the seaside town for an evening filled with creativity and celebration. The result of meticulous work carried out over months by local artisans, the parade will transport you to an enchanting world thanks to:
  • The grand night parade: starting at 9:30 PM, marvel at the spectacular floats, sparkling costumes, and musical performances that will bring the streets to life
  • The harbor ritual: the evening will reach its climax in the Old Port with the traditional burning of the Carnival King
  • The grand finale: to bring this celebration to a spectacular close, a fireworks display will be set off at 11:30 PM, casting a thousand colors onto the waters of the harbor    

 Practical Information 
  • Schedule:
    • Parade starts at 9:30 PM
    • Burning of the King and fireworks starting at 11:00 PM
  • Bar and food service available on the Esplanade de la Ria starting at 12:00 PM
  • Entertainment (bouncy castle) and dance party with DJ Osmose
  • Weather conditions: The burning of the King and the fireworks display may be canceled in case of inclement weather
