Presentation

The purpose of this path is to open from the Route de la Princetière a path that is practicable all year round, skirting the wetland and leading to the foot of the Butte de l'Ile. This natural site is located along the Calais stream and its 15 ha tributary.
During your walk, you will find meadows, shaded areas and paths conducive to relaxation and contemplation of nature... You can stroll around in complete tranquillity, enjoy the fresh air and stop to admire the green landscapes.

The Coulée Verte is home to a wide variety of flora and fauna. 
As you stroll along, you will see various species of animals and plants that inhabit this natural site. A small wooden bridge even allows you to admire the little stream from a slightly higher vantage point!

Children have not been forgotten in making this walk more attractive.
A fun environmental trail has been created along the Coulée Verte, providing walkers with information and education on topics related to nature and the environment. The panels along the trail provide a variety of information, raising awareness among young and old alike. It's a great opportunity to learn while having fun!

 Finally, since spring 2022, sheep have taken up residence here. Their presence adds a rustic and picturesque touch to this beautiful walk and helps to maintain the meadows at the same time.

  • in autumn and winter, wear boots or hiking shoes as the path can easily become muddy
  • in summer, bring water and a cap or hat
  • don't forget your camera
