The Bourgneuf-en-Retz ponds site is made up of 3 ponds designed for fishing, walking, and relaxation.

Come get some fresh air in a really nice place! All year round, it's the ideal place to share a friendly moment with the family... the children love it every time! and afterwards, they always want to come back to the ponds!
Who am I ?
- Built in the 90s, mainly for freshwater angling, I was once a small watercourse below the Saint Laurent vineyards.
- Today, I welcome fishermen, but also walkers, and families for a large part of the year.

Here are 5 good reasons to come visit me:
- On the site: 3 ponds are open to fishing all year round (swimming and water sports are not authorized),
- Several shaded picnic tables allow you to eat peacefully in the shade in all seasons,
- A fitness course made up of around 6 pieces of equipment, allowing you to practice a little sport at your own pace,
- Two pétanque courts, on clay, offer you a relaxing break,
- Different game modules are accessible to children aged 2 and over; slides of different sizes, wooden horse, swings, also a book box, etc...

Practical information :
- Two free parking lots are accessible all year round; one by the road to Nantes (with height barrier), and the other by the road to Arthon (without height barrier),
- around the ponds is possible on foot and by bike, most of the year, when the winter rains have not been too intense.
Distance wise: the tour of the first pond is 2km, the second is 1.4km, the third is 1.6km. The tour of the three is approximately 4.5km. (the third pond is difficult to access in winter).
- Fishing licenses are on sale on the website of the Loire Atlantique fishing federation or at the Salines cellar located in the commercial area of ​​the same name.
