Free electric tuk-tuk service – Town of Pornic

To make getting around easier and improve access to the town centre during the summer season, the Town of Pornic is launching a new free transport service. From 11 July to 30 August 2026, two electric tuk-tuks will run daily to provide a link between the car parks and the town centre.

This scheme, designed for people who tire easily or have difficulty walking (the elderly, pregnant women, and those recovering from illness), offers a gentle, quiet and convenient way to get around. The vehicles will operate a loop of approximately 3 kilometres, serving the Thomas Narcejac car park, the pedestrianised town centre (Quai Leray), the Château area and the Upper Town.


 Practical information
  • Timetable: daily from 12 noon to 10 pm
  • Fare: free service, no booking required
  • Frequency: estimated service every 10 to 15 minutes
  • Stops (7): Narcejac car park, Esplanade de la Ria, Place du Marchix (except on market days), Passage du Rocher, Place du Môle, Rue du Canal roundabout, and Château car park
  • Capacity: 4 passengers per vehicle
  • Accessibility: service not wheelchair accessible. Dedicated disabled parking spaces are available at the Château, Gare, Thomas Narcejac, Verdun and Rue du Canal car parks


Please note: the route is altered on Thursday and Sunday mornings (market days), as well as during special events (14 July)
