From Pornic, the drive to Fromentine—the port most frequently used by the Compagnie Vendéenne—takes about 40 to 45 minutes, depending on traffic.  

 Parking:
Fromentine - La Barre-de-Monts: Private, secure, paid parking lots are available in the town center or on the outskirts of Fromentine. 
Saint-Gilles-Croix-de-Vie: Free parking for 10 to 30 minutes, within walking distance of the pier.
Barbâtre - La Fosse (Noirmoutier Island): Free parking spaces available at the pier.
