Presentation

Located in the heart of the Pays de Retz between Nantes and Pornic, the Domaine de la Coche benefits from the mild oceanic climate and varied terroirs. Thus the grapes are naturally ripe and healthy. A pleasure for the taste buds!
Since 2000, the Domaine de la Coche has belonged to the two cousins Emmanuel and Laurent Guitteny, who combine the family wine tradition with recent techniques and their know-how.

The 37-hectare estate has been converting to organic farming since 2020. The first vintages of organic wine will arrive in 2024!

The flagship wine is Muscadet Côtes de Granlieu. Local varieties are also given pride of place: Grolleau, Grolleau gris, Chardonnay, Sauvignon and Gamay. "Our wines are regularly recognised for their quality in national and international competitions," explains Laurent.

The vines benefit from the mild oceanic climate and Lake Grandlieu protects them from heavy rainfall. "We use several types of soil, and have adapted the grape varieties to suit their potential.
