    The historic Moutiers-en-Retz wine estate, now known as Le Domaine des Sylphes, offers you the chance to discover a range of wines made from 11 grape varieties.
      Who's behind Domaine des Sylphes?
    Denis Crand & Séverine Cucuillère arrived at the Moutiers-en-Retz wine estate in 2023. Wine is a return to her roots for Séverine, as her grandfather was a winegrower in the Audois region, and she fell in love with it when she worked for a Grands Crus Classés wine merchant in the Bordeaux region. Nature is a return to her roots for Denis, who has had a natural attraction to the land from an early age and a confirmed dexterity for manual labour.

      Wines made at the Domaine:
    The Domaine des Sylphes wines will be a perfect match for the local seaside produce: seafood, fish... and the soothing surroundings of the Pays de Retz: aperitifs, barbecues, beaches... You'll find the legendary Muscadet appellation and the emblematic grape varieties of the Pays de Retz, Grolleaux Gris and Grolleaux Noirs. 

    In all, 11 grape varieties meticulously crafted for a full range of wines:
    • mineral white wines with saline notes
    • fresh rosés
    • light, fruity reds,
    • delicate bubbles (with or without alcohol).

    The vineyard has been in conversion to organic farming since 2022.

      Where can you buy Domaine des Sylphes wines and fruit juices?
    • At the cellar: 1 ter chemin de Trelebourg in Les Moutiers-en-Retz (opening times below).
    • At the shop: 3 rue du Maréchal Foch in La Bernerie-en-Retz.
    • At the "marché gourmand": every Monday in summer, at La Fradouillère in Les Moutiers-en-Retz.

    The Domaine des Sylphes offers guided tours for individuals and groups, by prior arrangement. The programme includes :
    • discovery of the cellar
    • explanation of the wine-making process
    • and of course: wine tasting 

      Did you know?
    Until 2023, Domaine des Sylphes was known as Domaine du Sillon Côtier, an estate created́ in 1887 by the Ferré family. 

    Domaine des Sylphes is one of the local producers in Moutiers-en-Retz presented by the Destination Pornic Tourist Office.
