Fancy trying out a new water sports activity? Discover wing foiling with the Moutiers-en-Retz sailing club.

Wing foiling is an innovative water sport that combines the sensations of windsurfing, kitesurfing and foiling. It involves manoeuvring a light wing while gliding along on a board fitted with a foil, a sort of underwater fin that allows you to ‘fly’ above the water.

There are many advantages to wing foiling:

accessibility: unlike some board sports, wing foiling is easier for beginners to learn and master.
sensations: the effect of ‘flying’ above the water gives a new and exciting sensation, giving the impression of surfing the waves without friction.
Physical fitness: wing foiling is an excellent form of exercise, working many muscles and improving balance and coordination.

All lessons are supervised by qualified and passionate instructors, ensuring safe and enjoyable progress for every participant.

Practical information:

equipment provided: the Moutiers-en-Retz sailing club provides all the necessary equipment, including kites, boards, foils and lifejackets.
registration: you can register directly at the sailing club (at high tide) or by phone.
Public: Open to children aged 8 and over (must be able to swim).
