 Pornic Sailing Rally – A sporting and cultural challenge organised by the Sailing School    

  What’s on

Fancy discovering Pornic Bay in a whole new light? Set sail on a unique adventure combining sailing and a treasure hunt. Aboard a J80, your crew will set off on a sea-based orienteering race unlike any other: here, there’s no traditional finish line, but a series of buoys to track down.

Each marker you reach will give you a valuable number, essential for solving the puzzles that await you. General knowledge, local history and maritime secrets will add a bit of spice to your sailing experience. Accompanied by an experienced skipper, you’ll need to combine strategy, speed and quick thinking if you hope to make it onto the podium at the friendly drinks reception that will round off this thrilling experience. 

  Practical information
  • Age: suitable for ages 12 and over
  • Equipment provided: a complete sailor’s kit (map, logbook and notepad)
  • Supervision: a professional skipper is on board each boat to ensure your adventure runs smoothly
  • Programme: the sailing takes place at sea, followed by a quiz on land and a get-together during the prize-giving ceremony
