Pays de Retz Authors’ Christmas Fair

   What’s on

The Authors of the Pays de Retz invite you to their Christmas Book Fair, which will bring together around forty local authors. This event will place a particular focus on children’s literature, whilst offering a wide variety of genres: novels, historical novels, illustrated books, travelogues and self-help books.

Key events and highlights:

  • Collaborative project: presentation of writing work carried out with Year 1 and Year 4 pupils from Kerlor School. The pupils’ work will be on display, accompanied by a public reading of the most significant pieces.
  • Workshops: writing and genealogy workshops, amongst others.
  • ‘Read, Live, Write’ art competition: the fair will showcase the official poster from this art competition (open to all talented artists: draughtsmen, painters, illustrators, graphic designers and photographers).
