Bread-making workshops – All Saints’ Day holidays

  Programme

• 2.30 pm – Welcome and preparation: Hand washing, putting on aprons and discovering the ingredients
• Hands-on session: in groups of four, it’s time to knead and shape the dough (everyone gets stuck in!)
• Discussion and break: an interactive chat about the history of bread, the ingredients and the baker’s trade, tailored to the group
• 4.00 pm – homemade snack: tasting of ‘fouées’ topped with homemade jams and caramel, followed by putting the loaves into the wood-fired oven
• 4.30 pm – tour of the mill: a tour of the site and the ‘kandelour’ mill
• 4.45 pm / 5.00 pm – closing: distribution of the freshly baked loaves, along with the miller’s and baker’s booklets, before departure
