  • Comedy: The Groom – a comedy wedding show at the café theatre in Pornic

Presentation

Le Poche presents the comedy ‘The Groom!’

   What’s on

Alone on his knees in a church, a groom-to-be waits for his fiancée… who is running late.
The minutes tick by, his anxiety mounts, and his mind starts to wander. So he broods. Far too much.
The wedding, his mother-in-law, the priest, fidelity, compromises, memories of exes, the fear of saying ‘I do’… it all comes flooding back in an uncontrollable stream of thoughts.
A funny, lively and terribly human one-man show that turns the happiest day of a person’s life… into a memorable existential crisis.
