 An exceptional concert at Saint-Gilles Church in Pornic 
Classical music and choral singing enthusiasts are invited to a concert by the Pornic Vocal Ensemble in Pornic, in the remarkable setting of Saint-Gilles Church. A musical event open to all, in an atmosphere that is both intimate and majestic.

A musical journey between land and sea, voices and brass instruments   
  • The Pornic Vocal Ensemble, conducted by Peter Vizard, invites you to celebrate spring with an exceptional repertoire: “Voices and Brass Instruments in the 17th Century.” For the occasion, the choir is joining forces with the Challans Brass Ensemble to explore the colorful harmonies of the post-Renaissance period.
  • Let yourself be transported by the majesty of English and Italian music. The program will feature Henry Purcell, with his vibrant tribute to Queen Mary, as well as other masterpieces from the Grand Siècle. Between vocal power and the brilliance of the brass (with a quintet performing four dedicated pieces), these concerts promise a unique immersion in sound in the solemn setting of the churches of the Pays de Retz.
