Conference organized by Pornic Histoire and hosted by Hervé Le Goff  
 On the program
  • Delve into the centuries-old ties between Brittany and the Celtic lands across the Channel!  
  • The Pornic Histoire association invites you to a fascinating lecture led by historian Hervé Le Goff. Together, we will explore a little-known but fascinating chapter in our past: “Brittany and the Scottish War”.
  • Between political alliances, maritime issues, and cultural solidarity, discover how the fate of the Duchy of Brittany became intimately linked to the Scottish conflicts. An evening to travel back in time and better understand Brittany's influence on the European chessboard of the time.

  • Time: the conference starts at 7:00 p.m. (please arrive a little early to get settled)
