From speech bubbles to pencils: create your own comic strip in a morning with Céci Rjass   


What’s on  

Step into the shoes of a comic book artist for a creative morning! Under the expert guidance of Cécile (Ceci Rjass), an illustrator from Pornic, young people will explore every stage of the creative process.

The aim? To learn the basics of the ‘ninth art’ in a fun way and leave with a mini-comic of five panels created from start to finish   

  • Technical skills: drawing characters, conveying movement, and capturing facial expressions and emotions.
  • Storytelling: an introduction to panel layout and scriptwriting.
  • Support: Cécile guides each participant step by step to help them find their own style.
  • The added bonus: you don’t need to be an expert at drawing – all that matters is the desire to tell a story! Each participant leaves with their creation and a course booklet to continue the adventure at home.

  Practical information:
  • Target audience: children aged 8 to 10 and 11 to 16 (all levels, no prior experience required)
  • All materials provided. Just bring your enthusiasm to learn
  • Terms and conditions: the workshop will go ahead with a minimum of 3 participants. If there are fewer than 3, you will be offered a credit note or a refund
