 The Le Poche café-theatre is staging a dance-based performance: “L’Empreinte” by La Troupe des Va-nu-pieds

Delve into the history and evolution of oriental dance with “L’Empreinte”, a dance-based lecture presented by Carine Cotineau (La Troupe des Va-nu-pieds).

Drawing on 20 years’ experience in dance and art therapy, the presenter takes you on a fascinating journey, from the cults of the Mother Goddesses to Egyptian cabarets, via the influence of Gypsy dancers.

Blending aesthetics and ethnology, this unique performance oscillates between the sacred and the profane to trace the journey of cosmopolitan women who have shaped this art form. A genuine invitation to challenge preconceptions and explore how universal history resonates with our emotions.
