Operation Zero Cigarette Butts: Cleanup and Awareness Campaign by Surfrider Loire-Atlantique  

Join the movement to protect our coastline! As part of the international Surfrider Against Cigarette Butts campaign, the local Surfrider Loire-Atlantique chapter invites you to participate in a community cleanup and awareness-raising event at the Port of Pornic.

This event marks the conclusion of the “Zero Cigarette Butts on My Street” challenge, which ran throughout the month of June across the Pornic Agglo Pays de Retz region. Residents, visitors, and families are invited to drop off the cigarette butts they collected in public spaces during this morning.

    On the agenda:

• Collection drop-off: bring the cigarette butts you collected during the month of June
• Fun and educational activities: learn more about the impact of this pollution on our marine environment
• Scientific initiative: your data will contribute to a European database aimed at documenting tobacco-related pollution to drive changes in public policy
