J120 Skipper Training Course

During the All Saints’ Day holidays, come aboard Dominique’s J120 from the port of La Noëveillard for a 5-day cruise featuring a series of unforgettable stopovers.

This practical course invites you to become self-sufficient in managing a crew and planning a cruise:

• Participants will take turns in charge of the boat on a cruising route as skipper
• A personalised assessment will be carried out at the end of the course to validate your skipper’s level, or to draw up an individual training plan where necessary

The 5-day programme:

• Day 1: Setting training objectives, HLM workshop and harbour manoeuvres
• Days 2 and 3: In-depth training (preparation for sailing, crew management, night-time arrivals, etc.)
• Days 4 and 5: Real-life scenarios and assessment

  Practical information

• Price: €700 + licence fee (€14.50) and membership fee for the Pornic Sailing Club (CNP) (€14.50)
• Prerequisites: open only to those aged 18 and over with proven experience as a crew member in all roles
• What to bring: please bring a little money for the ship’s cash box (food, mooring fees and fuel if required)
